Description

I had been making photographs of Denver City Parks for two years. I had been waiting for the spring of 2000 to arrive for the spring bloom to add color to the landscape around town. Rarely do I photograph past sunrise to make landscape or cityscape photographs. This morning the sunrise had come and gone as I strolled around Civic Park looking for an angle with the flower beds in full bloom with the State Capitol in the background. I was in luck as I found this vantage point looking from a grassy promontory looking across the park.

A Nikon F-4 Camera with a Nikkor 24mm lens with the shutter setting at 1/125th of a second; F-Stop f8.0; with Fuji Velvia Film ISO 50 was used to capture this civic park scene.
