We made our reservations. Caught the bus in Glenwood. Departed the Hanging Lake Parking lot mid-afternoon for the steep one mile hike to the lake.

Serene and tranquil as ever, sitting along the east shore of the lake can be inspiring. The spring runoff roared over the falls. Late in the afternoon the wind gusted blowing small waves across the lake. Following each wave across the lake was a magical trail of shimmering lights.

A Sony RX10 II, DSLR Camera, with a 24-200 mm lens at a focal length of 8.8 mm was made 1/125th second with a F-Stop of f/4.5 and an ISO 640 were used to make this image of the sun sparkling on Hanging Lake.
